Esben fakes his own death, so he can flee WWI and return to his beloved wife Kirstine and son Karl after 3 years. But everything has changed in his absence. A charming German Officer, Gerhard, has replaced his role as the father, and is trying hard to win Kirstines heart. From his hideout, Esben becomes a witness to a true nightmare and he must fight for love, survival and to save his family Based on true events. Aesha goes to an isolated b&b in Kent after her mom books her in so she can get some head space for her studies. In the night Aesha is visited by a nun at the door who will progressively begin to show her true colours as the night unfolds - As the nun continues to bother Aesha at the door, Aesha begins to question her surroundings in this isolated suspense horror. Ann is consumed by the fantasy of finding true love. Just when she thinks she's found it, she is friend-zoned. The disappointment of rejection sends her into an obsessive downward spiral that tests the limits of her sanity and the strength of her closest friendship. In order to reclaim her bearings on reality, she confronts her overgrown fantasies by making a film about the experience.
